CYBERMIDI LICENSING

Purchasing a CYBERMIDI or a CYBERMIDI membership from CYBERMIDI.COM grants the end user a performance license, but that is not extended to the internet, where the product would be distributed. If you are a musician, your membership agreement allows you to use CYBERMIDIs in a public performance. If you chose Membership, that agreement ends when membership expires unless you renew. Upon renewal, you have the option of renewing your subcription (which includes licensing) or simply rewewing your license, currently at a rate of only $12 per year. If you purchased the MIDI, you retain licensing for that individual MIDI without the need to renew.

Please realize that your license with us does not apply to other licenses that may apply, such as ASCAP, BMI, etc. You would be responsible for obtaining such licenses on your own.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE INTERNET

We realize that the Internet is an online community, and strives to coexist peacefully with our Internet neighbors. That's one of the reason we may allow limited use of our MIDIs on sites non-commercial in nature. We provide specially encrypted versions of our MIDIs, designed to be played in a standard MIDI player, but unworkable in a sequencing program. There are the only versions we allow posted. This is only available to CyberMIDI members, and you must contact us first to have your web site approved, and request the MIDIs that you wish to use.

For commercial sites and other projects, we also have fee based licensing agreements. Once again, other licenses may apply. Please write to us for more information.
