Since our inception, CYBERMIDI has always supported independent artists. There are so many terrific artists and great music that you won't hear on FM radio anymore, talented musicians creating substantial work outside the commercial mainstream, whose artistry deserves recognition and an audience.

Yet in the margins of this system, independent artists continue creating some of the most innovative, authentic, and memorable music of our time.

What we've discovered over years of reviewing submissions is that the best independent music shares certain qualities: genuine musicianship, thoughtful arrangements, songs that reward repeated listening rather than demanding immediate gratification.
