My name is Joey Ofori a.k.a DJ Smooth4Lyfe, born on October 26, 1987. I have lived with music my whole life. I have two brothers, Ben who is 15 and Yaw who is 19. My parents were both born in Ghana, Africa. I was born and raised in Maryland and have lived there for 17 years before going to college at Widener University in Pennsylvania, where I study Computer Information Science, but also trying to make a name for myself in the music business. I have been working with beats for about 2 years because of my passion for music. I first started producing Dance, Electric. I showed it to my class and they were really impressed with what I've done, which has inspired me to keep going. I now also produce Hip Hop, R&B, and all other genres of music I like. My other musical inspirations are different artists from the Neptunes, to Lil Jon, to Jermaine Dupree. My music is not much like other artists because I tend to mix different genres of music to make one track. I have made four albums alone in 2006. My first dance album was a big hit around the world, and my music has been air played on different radio stations worldwide. Many people have reviewed my tracks from other dance producers to dance music fans to non dance music fans, and they all enjoyed my music, so I am hoping that everyone who listen to my music will enjoy them as much as I do
